Guided Charity Trek – Chiltern Hills

Join Watford Rotary Club for a professionally guided charity trek through the beautiful Chiltern Hills, combining an enjoyable outdoor challenge with the opportunity to make a life-changing difference.

This one-day trek is designed to be accessible yet rewarding, making it suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. Participants will walk scenic countryside routes, guided by an experienced trek leader who will ensure a safe, well-paced, and enjoyable experience throughout the day.

The Challenge

  • One-day guided trek in the Chiltern Hills

  • Moderate difficulty, suitable for most fitness levels

  • Professionally led with a guide ratio of 1 guide per 12 participants

  • Fully supported walk with planned rest points

Why We’re Walking

Funds raised through the trek will be used to install water filtration plants in rural villages in Pakistan, providing safe, clean drinking water to communities in need. Access to clean water dramatically reduces waterborne diseases and plays a vital role in protecting children’s health and supporting efforts to eradicate polio.

Your Impact

Each participant commits to raising £500 through sponsorship from friends, family, and colleagues. This contribution can help provide clean water to an entire village, delivering long-term health, educational, and social benefits.

Who Can Take Part?

The trek is open to:

  • Rotary members

  • Friends and family

  • Corporate teams

  • Community supporters

You don’t need to be a seasoned walker — just willing to take on a meaningful challenge and support a powerful cause.

Walk with Purpose

By taking part in this guided trek, you’ll be walking in the spirit of Service Above Self, helping Rotary deliver sustainable solutions that change lives.
